During the 2024 Lunar New Year, DC Healthcare Holdings Berhad, the parent company of Dr Chong Clinic and DC Body, has embarked on a heartwarming initiative to support families in need throughout Penang and Sungai Petani. Recognizing the financial strains faced by less fortunate families during this festive season, the company organized a significant donation of essential groceries, aiming to ensure that every family can partake in the joyous celebrations without undue hardship.
The gesture of goodwill saw Dr Chong Clinic and DC Body donating over 3000 kg of essential groceries to more than 400 families across the region. With the intention of providing relief from financial pressure, the program aimed to supply over a month’s worth of groceries to each recipient, offering vital support during the Lunar New Year period.
Delivery of the essential groceries was carried out across seven different locations, including community centres in low-cost apartments, a surau, an OKU home, and a community temple. This widespread distribution ensured that families from various backgrounds and circumstances could benefit from the generosity of DC Healthcare Holdings Berhad.

The meticulous attention to detail exhibited by the doctors of Dr Chong Clinic in their medical practice translated seamlessly into the planning and execution of the donation program, ensuring that each family received precisely what they needed.
