In conjunction with the grand opening of Dr Chong Clinic AutoCity Penang, DC Healthcare Holdings Berhad marked this meaningful milestone with a powerful gesture of giving — reaching out to underprivileged communities through an impactful CSR initiative focused on both tradition and education.
To honour the sacred celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha, the company performed a Qurban donation of 5 cows and 15 goats, with meat distributed to families across Penang. This act of spiritual sacrifice was more than a religious observance — it symbolized the company’s deep-rooted commitment to sharing blessings with those in need, especially during festive occasions.
Recognizing the financial challenges faced by B40 families in preparing their children for school, DC Healthcare further extended its support by donating 600 units of school bags and stationery sets to students from underprivileged backgrounds. This thoughtful contribution benefited over 600 schoolchildren, empowering them to return to school with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to succeed.
This double-pronged initiative — rooted in both faith and future-building — reflects the core values of Detailed, Caring, and One Team that define DC Healthcare Holdings Berhad. Just as Dr Chong Clinic is known for its precise and empathetic patient care, the planning and delivery of this CSR program demonstrated the same attention to individual needs and community impact.
